Getting the file from Shopify

  1. 1In Shopify admin, open Products.
  2. 2Choose Export, then All products.
  3. 3Pick "CSV for Excel, Numbers, or other spreadsheet programs".
  4. 4Shopify emails you the file. A backup in Google Drive works too, if it is a products export.

What an import never does

  • Put anything on your site. Every product arrives as a draft.
  • Half-create a product. A row that fails creates nothing.
  • Break old links. Your Shopify product addresses redirect to the new pages.
  • Keep you waiting. Leave the page; we message you when it is done.
